Gerding Edlen

Environmental Design

Project Overview

This is an instance when one project transforms into two. 315 on A Street is a residential building developed by Gerding Edlen in Boston. Originally, we presented several concepts to transform their concierge space. The client chose a different concept for the entryway, but asked that we develop this structural pattern into a long wall near their larger lobby area. We developed a non-repeating pattern, incorporating colors that reflect the concrete and natural materials used throughout, while the shapes are modern creating a sense of further depth.
