FOR NEXT WEEK: For next week, start exploring at least 2 new elements of your project that you haven't started yet! The intention—I don't want you to keep refining certain elements of your project, and find that you are rushing to work on everything else at the end of the semester. Everyone's projects are different, so if you aren't sure what that might mean, feel free to email me.
Additionally, I want you to do a status report of where you started (what was the original intention of the project) and do a check in. Now's a good time to see if there's any definition tweaking that is necessary, and with that, if your project scope has to change at all. Is there anything that is missing from your plan? Note how your design reflects your voice, and is challenging you as well. Finally, as you've been working on your project, note and consider how your project is new, unexpected, or out-of-the ordinary? Do a check in. Are there certain facets of your project where you might push yourself further. Consider what elements are missing something, and push those elements.
Continue to develop design. Bring in printouts (if you are concerned about print budget, you can bring in b&w printouts if it makes sense to you.) Email me with questions.
